Getting Half Way There

Well well well, today is the day. According to Insurance companies, female in Malaysia can live up to age 78 on average. Men are about age 73.

Hence, age of 35 - 39 can be considered as getting half way there. If I look back and reflect at all those years, some moments can make me proud, while some moments can make me feel ashamed of myself. Sometimes I did think, what if I had reacted or acted differently. What if....But then again, we are not supposed to have regrets in our life. What ever happens, happens for a reason. It's part and parcel of growing up, regardless of your stages in life, until the day you die. Ultimate aim must always be - get ready when you are to face your Al-Khaliq - Sang Maha Pencipta.

 

Hadith - "The most brilliant among you is the ones who always remember about death". And what the life is going to be next.

 

Yesterday on IKIM radio, the ustazah said, always remember about your "bekalan" or "pencen akhirat". That's the nicest way of putting it. Hadith - "When a person dies, all his deeds will die with him, except for three things - sedekah jariah, ilmu yg bermanfaat yg diamalkan, dan doa dari anak yg soleh". I did discuss this with Mr. X, I told him that ilmu dan doa can only last for a certain period, but sedekah jariah is the best, since it is the easiest that can be passed from generation to generation. Sedekah is best done when your left hand does not know what your right hand gives away. If you reach this stage, you'll be one of the groups of people who can get great protection from Allah on the day where there is no other protection (in Padang Mahsyar).

 

Wow wee....the deeper we reflect, the more we feel that we have not done enough. There are so many gaps that need to be filled.

 

The best doa to ask for Ustaz says:

1. Ampunkan dosa.
2. Berikan rahmat.
3. Luaskan rezeki.
4. Berikan kesihatan yg baik.

 

Ya Allah, ampunilah dosaku, berikan rahmat kepadaku, luaskanlah rezeki ku dan berikan aku kesihatan yg baik supaya aku boleh buat kebajikan dan amalan yg lebih byk lagi. Aminnnnn........

Pak Arab di Jabal Uhud

Tentera islam tewas dlm perang menentang musyrikin di Jabal Uhud kerana melanggar perintah rasullullah. Rasulullah kata jgn turun dulu utk ambil harta rampasan perang, tapi mereka telah turun, dan diserang dgn hebat sekali. Beribu juga syuhadak yg terkorban. Jabal Uhud ialah antara makhluk yg akan masuk syurga. Pak melayu sakit kepala sebab cuaca 46 deg C. So kena jadik Pak Arab jugak. Nasib baik kat arab ni, semua places of attractions ada byk org berniaga. Bawak duit je kak, semua ada. Bahaya utk org kaki shopping!

Perjalanan di Tanah Gersang

Dulu, rasullullah berhijrah dari mekah ke madinah mengambil masa 1 minggu perjalanan. Jalannya penuh dgn ranjau padang pasir dan bukit bukau berbatu. Not to mention mengharungi ribut pasir. Now sudah ada 3 lane hiway, takde tol u. It takes about 6 hours. In the future, there will be a fast train service for this route. Masya Allah. Sungguh beruntung generasi kita dan anak cucu kita kelak. Apa lagi alasan utk tidak menziarahi bumi tanah suci ini?

Perjuangan Berdoa di Raudhah

Inilah pintu pemisah buat kaum hawa bersolat dan berdoa di Raudhah. Raudhah ini bersebelahan dgn makam rasullullah, antara tempat mustajab utk berdoa dan ia adalah salah satu taman syurga. It's opened 24 hours to men, but for ladies, restricted 2 hours AM and 2 hours PM. Ia adalah satu perjuangan sebab ko kena berebut nak masuk n apalagi nak bersolat kat situ. Kena kuat semangat n must have group strategy. Well, there's a price to pay for great returns. Syukur dpt solat di situ, setelah penat berjuang! Thanks to fellow frens yg hard up jugakkkk!!!

Khutbah Jumaat di Masjidil Haram

Alhamdullillah, aku sempat tunaikan solat jumaat dan mendengar khutbah. Extract back all the arabic which was long buried underneath the cereblum since schooling days. Antara kandungannya yg aku paham, hari kiamat dah semakin hampir. Tanda2 akhir zaman semuanya telah jelas. Oleh itu segeralah berbuat kebaikan. Dibacakan hadith rebutlah 5 perkara sebelum dtg 5 perkara. Lihatlah, even around the haram, bangunan tinggi kepunyaan yahudi sgt bermaharalela. Imam hanya mampu suarakan secara kias, kalau tak boleh kena ISA arab style juga. Inilah dia akhir zaman.

Doa di Jabal Rahmah

Jabal Rahmah terletak di kawasan Arafah yg luas. Semasa dibuang dari syurga, Nabi Adam diturunkan di sekitar negara Arab manakala Hawa di India. Setelah 40 tahun berdoa, akhirnya Allah makbulkan doa Nabi Adam utk bertemu isterinya Hawa. Nah, di sinilah byk kekeliruan berlaku. Mereka bertemu di kawasan Arafah yg luas, bukan spesifik di Jabal Rahmah. Jabal Rahmah ini ada 1 gua di mana rasullullah berdoa di kaki bukitnya dan tidur di satu gua di kawasan kaki bukit ini. Hence, Jabal Rahmah ialah antara salah satu tempat mustajab doa, tak kira lah soal jodoh atau tidak. So, jgn keliru lagi. It's not a bukit where people can doa for carik jodoh or panjangkan jodoh saja. It serves more purpose than just that.
